Warren Barrón Bridal: Of course we have to start with the proposal…How did her pop the question??

Collyn:  We had dinner at the pizza restaurant where we had our first date, then he proposed on the porch of the house he lived in when we met in college. I loved that he chose such a specific place that had so much personal meaning to both of us. While the proposal was a surprise, the biggest surprise of the night was returning home to see that our families and my two best friends had traveled from all over to be there for the engagement!

Warren Barrón Bridal: What was the biggest inspiration for your wedding??

Collyn:  We were inspired by Mediterranean color pallets featuring dusky mauves and sage greens to create an atmosphere that was both sophisticated and airy. We wanted our celebration to feel upscale, but not uptight.

Warren Barrón Bridal: The planning of the wedding is what last the longest throughout the whole process! What was your favorite part??

Collyn:  My favorite part of the planning process was being surrounded by so many supportive people that helped us in many different ways leading up to the wedding day. My mom made the 5 hour trip to Dallas nearly every weekend because she never wanted me to feel overwhelmed, and people really came out of the woodwork to help along the way.

Warren Barrón Bridal: Obviously the most important question…to us anyways! Why did you chose your gown and what was your favorite part about it?

Collyn:  It was the very first gown I tried on, and it was picked out by the Warren Barron ladies! I wasn't even sure about trying it on, but I fell in love with it as soon as I saw myself in the mirror. The high lace neckline is definitely what sold me on it--I've never seen anything like it and I felt so elegant. Even after trying on countless other gowns and going to another appointment, I came right back to that dress. My favorite part of my gown is the train, paired with the cathedral-length veil I chose. I got married on the same day as Meghan and Harry, and I definitely felt like royalty walking down the aisle.

She may have shared her wedding with a Duke and Duchess, but in the end, a King rules them all!

Congrats on one year and cheers to many more happy times to come!
