So its been a few weeks and we have had a chance to reflect on what we saw during Market this past April.  It is so exciting to see all of the new looks.  Strapless is still strong, but sleeves,  “V” Necks, and plunging backs are definitely taking over the runways.

ML paparazi

Monique Lhuillier keeps with her romantic feminine style in this draped strapless gown with organza floral skirt.

ML blush Satin

Monique Lhuillier does it again with this satin gown with tulle illusion showcasing an essence of color.

AS ruffleback

Austin Scarlett adorned this strapless gown with a train trimmed with horsehair and tulle.

VW crepe back

Vera Wang does strapless sexy and sleek in this simple but dramatic crepe gown.

Strapless has been strong for many years, but it is so refreshing to see that all designers are pushing new necklines.  We saw the “V” Neckline with all designers.  From Sleek to soft and romantic.

CH drapedV

Carolina Herrera did this draped “V” Neck with a very full tulle skirt.  It is soft but so striking.

LR print

Lela Rose kept her “V” Neck sleek, but made it so romantic by using beautiful fabric in a blush floral pattern.

Vera Wang took a softer approach to this neckline.  Draped in English Net and trimmed in Chantilly lace gives this gown a more ethereal look.

RKLace ball

We are introducing Romona Keveza this season to our collection, and she showed  the “V” neckline  in this amazing luxurious beaded lace ball gown.  It is a show stopper for sure!

Sleeves have slowly made their way into the bridal fashion again, but are very strong this new season.  I think they will only get more popular with time.

ML runway beaded

Monique Lhuillier showed a short sleeve beaded jacket over a strapless gown.  A bride can get the best of both worlds with this look.

CH off shoulder

There is no doubt that this beautiful gown is Carolina Herrera, this is a classic made modern.

The last trend we saw that really made an impact was the low interesting backs.  Every designer did it in their own way.

VW English Net Back

This is a “Wow” for the bride of now.  The groom would not be disappointed with this gown that is for sure!

Sophisticated is the only way to describe this Romona Keveza gown.  The Halter neckline and low back make the simple gown “unforgettable”.

CH V emb

Carolina Herrera  added a delicate organza ribbon  to the back neckline of this gown.  It is a very small detail, that really completes this gown.

EF blush

Elizabeth Fillmore showed off her signature look in this fabulous gown.

LR back emb

Lela Rose also showed off a signature look.  She does the low back with a unique embroidered motif.

We just can’t wait to have them in our store.  They are little pieces of art that will reflect each bride in their own special way.
