The inspiration behind the Lela Rose Spring 2011 Collection stems from an exotic trip the designer took to the Galapagos and the different textures that occurred in nature on the island. Lela achieved what she observed in this season’s bridal collection by layering different fabrics together to produce textures that mimicked the unique terrain the islands had to offer. Using embroidered tulles over lace and 3D flowers with embroidered feathers Lela was able to create dresses that were light, airy and romantic.
